Well done and good for you, Jia! It is so easy to think about caring for those we love and can be a struggle to care for ourselves. I have to remind myself to be kinder to me and treat myself like a friend or a family member I love. Continue taking care of yourself and thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you for being so honest with everything. I just love watching your videos. Keep up the great work.
Well done. I’m at the making excuses for not exercises phase. I was walking regularly 4 years ago but I just can’t get back into it.
Thank you for looking out for those who are younger! I’m 22 and I’m trying my best to be healthy too. Good luck on your journey!!
It is truly amazing how showing up for ourselves makes us feel. I started a weight workout program every other day. I feel better, sleep better & overall happier.
Jia- showing up for myself is my mindset for 2023 & beyond… I’m 45 now and just really want to be my best self for ME. I’m feeling so much better, and really proud of myself for following through. Too many years I’ve been putting myself last and it really made me realize how I’ve lost touch with the things that make me happy. Everything in moderation really is key. Congrats to you for staying consistent!
Hi Jia. I love your health and fitness updates. Well done for walking every day, that’s a great achievement! I started weight training last year and it’s made such a difference to the shape of my body, i highly recommend it. Being in our 40s we really need those weights. Cant wait to follow your journey to health 🙂
It’s been a long while since I have watched your videos, I haven’t been watching YouTube much. I see a big shift in you and I am here for it! I love how you said you are showing up for yourself! Yes!
I know what you’re talking about! I’m 37 and my body and hormones are absolutely different! And I agree about the mentality of showing up for yourself. Women, especially mothers, are often guilty of this. We pour so much into others and often find that we don’t require the same for ourselves. Nope! All the nopes.
You are awesome. Love this approach and how you are tuning into how you are actually feeling and not restricting food in order to follow a prescribed “plan”.
Your body and mind thank you ❤️❤️
Job well done. You’re feeling great, looking great, and your health is improving. People would tell me, “You can’t lose weight just from walking, you need to do more!” I started loosing weight just walking for 30-45 minutes a day, two years ago and after loosing 80 pounds no one says anything negative to me anymore. I’m still losing weight and everyone is always shocked when I tell them I do walking aerobics. Keep up the good work, you’re doing great!
❤❤❤ love this!! i no longer weigh myself i workout to feel better and ever since i switched my mindset i have never felt better both mentally and physically!
I’m very happy for you and your mindset. I will admit that comparison is the thief of joy because I’ve just begun closing the activity ring (on my phone not the watch) and I simply aim for 1000 steps or 0.75 of a mile. Yesterday I got to 1.5 miles and I was so proud of myself.
I live with chronic pain and crappy mental health so getting outside at all is a win. It is hard when I see others so able to do so much more but I’m trying to maintain a positive perspective. Progress not perfection. ❤
You look great! I can see a difference from the beginning of the year. You are really an inspiring me and I am going to focus on myself. I am in menopause right now and its crazy how it changes your body.
