Great series, at Kroger that Wright bacon is $17.99 for a 40 oz pack of thick cut. We buy our meat in bulk at the meat market.
Angus beef is generally more expensive than regular ground beef. Angus beef is delicious and juicy. Just make sure you don’t overcook it.
I like this idea. I try to use sales to stock up. But a lot of stores here only have sales very close to the expiry dates.
I’m super excited for the up coming series thank you for all that you do for Jia we have going through the sell flyers of our local grocery stores to see what’s on sale and what we need to stock up on you have shown me some good ideas on what to stock up on. I have been using the Grocery budget tracker and meal planner from you that have been such a blessing to keep track of how much I am spending and our grocery inventory.

It’s always a surprise to see how prices vary state to state. For instance our tri color bell pepper three pack was $2.59 and it wasn’t sale priced. Keep in mind, this was two weeks ago; could have gone up. Also, I never seen that ground beef for $3.99 a pound-it is really good tho imo; that was a good price. And you’re not imagining it; Doritos has definitely filled their bags up less; Newsweek did a story about it. It really is a shame. Gota pay more for less and every day there is a shortage on one thing or the other. I really like your series idea. Can’t wait to see the comparison.

Yay! I just started shopping her like two weeks ago! Thank you!! I also started subbing one can of black beens for that second pound of ground beef in taco etc.. healthier and cheaper!
That’s the first American Lidl I’ve seen. It looks a lot like the Lidl we have in the U.K. (where as the American Aldi looks different). The middle aisle (aka Aisle ‘o’ sh*te) in Lidl is like that in both Aldi and Lidl over here. New stuff comes out every Sunday and Thursday and we have leaflets and apps to know what they have. Can be anything – kayak, power tools, clothing, equestrian stuff, toys, hot tubs etc. They also do really good heath and beauty dupes.
