I buy plants because i like them then find a place in the yard for them. My yard is eclectic and always changes, but it makes me happy and my neighbors rave about it and help me out….the bottom line is if it brings you joy get it (very Marie Kondo – that woman was onto something).
Your hydrangeas are beautiful!!! We moved in a new build last year and are doing our backyard landscaping now, I currently have lavender, white hydrangeas and pink roses

The planter box is self watering
The butterfly bushes can go CRAZY unless they’re determinate. If it says shrub, it might not get so big. They can get 15ft high like trees! So pretty and good for the butterflies, but girl, they have no chill
We got that patio heater last fall and we LOVE it! Works really well and has a light on the table. So nice!
