  1. That hibiscus needs to be in a large pot it is probably root bound. The hanging baskets look fabulous, the nursery’s start off with plugs in their baskets and let them grow to full size. Come June maybe sooner you’ll need to put those in bigger baskets. To make the petunias look better pop off all the flowers painful I know but it was force it to brach out more and it will fill in the basket. Everything is looking lovely good job. I wonder if next year you can use deck rail planters

    1. @Willette Barnes someone in my neighborhood has them and they are so beautiful when they fill out

  2. Get the screw in bicycle hooks for the hanging baskets if screwed into the wood properly they will hold and hang well. They are pretty cheap at harbor freight. Love the arrangement.

  3. I love the garden and flower content! I only have a small apartment patio but have several flowering plants and I get so happy when I go water them and sit in my rocking chair!

  4. Marigolds will fill out and cover smaller stuff. Verbena does well with a small leafy plants, your red salvia will go up tall. You need some green plants in with the flowers. Petunia you can put the same in. Just keep them pinched back, make them fuller. Add a bit of Epsom salts, dry, to your tomatoes in the soil. Also pinch off several of the stalks. And you need to space them out more.

  5. Oh Gina the flower hanging basket you did looks great! This time next month it will grow out and look even more amazing! Those little metal hangers from $1.25 store I hang hummingbird feeder on them. The kids love watching them. Happy growing season

  6. In Jesus’s name, holy spirit activate! Omg, you got me cracking up over here. Those pots came out beautiful. I’m loving anything garden related. Keep it up, girl!

  7. Absolutely loving your gardening vlog. So proud that your keep on experimenting with the plants. Your pots look so very pretty.❤️❤️. Grace

  8. I love these garden videos ❤️ I
Hope you never stop doing YouTube , I literally look forward to watching

  9. Make sure to read the label on your vegetable plant fertilizer. Typically most of them will want you to fertilize either every few weeks or once a month some maybe a little longer but not once a week. Too much fertilizer can burn a plants roots and make them more prone to disease insects.

  10. Gina, I will be the person who tells you that the positive energy you give to these plants WILL transfer. Yes, they may not behave like they did the store BUT they are adjusting to a new environment.

Just like you grew with your youtube journey these plants will grow with you. Let it be known that the environs plants grow in before they hit big-box stores can be rough. Do not consider yourself less-than for not having super-sucessful plants right off-the-go.

Seedlings need to be hardened-off. Sometimes you need thin out plants that dont succeed immediately – not all plants from seed are ready to be planted into the ground – you need to thin the herd to give plants the best chance at success. LISTEN. the best CHANCE at success. It is always chance. You do the best you can and so will the plants.

You are a positive influence on my life, and I want you to succeed but sometimes plants dont get exactly what they need when they need it. Do what you can and use short-term fertiliser (carp-based-water-systems where I am like seasol are great!) but know sometimes plants make way for the plants that are going to be strong.

Much love to you and yours, from Australia!

  11. The past couple years (not withstanding the pannini) I’ve working and back in school both full time and my yards/garden are in a pathetic state. School is done in a few weeks and this garden vlogging is giving me all the inspiration. I’m excited to get back at it.
