  1. I’m so glad you made this. I’m in my early 30s and I have come to realize when I need help to get someone skilled in that area. We (as in mothers, women and wife’s) have to realize that we don’t have too and shouldn’t have to do it all. There is NO shame in that.

  2. I am so happy that you are happy!!! Do what you have to and need to do to be happy. I can see in this video how this was a life changing experience. Nice to go into the new year with a positive outlook. Good for you and Charles and the girls.

  3. So glad you got this done and proud of you. I wish I had the money to do it right now but we just don’t. I’ve been trying to get rid of things little by little but it always seems to pile back up. I really hear you with the mental health and your space needing to be healthy. I absolutely believe that. I also like that you addressed the comment about that negativity. You wouldn’t just tell a person who is an addict to just stop. We do all need to be kinder to each other.

  4. It all looks great Jia! I think it was money well spent for your sanity. You should hire Jessica to help you with the rest of the house when you can afford it.
Fun fact: I turned 40 in June, 1999 and had our third baby in November, 1999. That was 23 years ago!

  5. I am so happy to hear this success story! It really hit home when you spoke about everyone having their strengths and weaknesses. And it’s OK to lean on someone who has the strength to your weakness. The two things I am terrible at is deep cleaning and decorating. I can do a quick tidy all day long but please don’t ask me to deep clean. I’ve been thinking about hiring a decorator not for anything fancy-schmancy but just to give my space peace. If that makes sense? I am also very excited to hear about Gia’s gems I love it when you “minister” I love listening to that so thank you for being an inspiring and positive presence on YouTube!

  6. Loves this mini series! If I could be a full time declutterer I would, I love it! If I were closer I would help you for free but it’s awesome you had this help and so glad you enjoyed ❤️❤️

  7. I’m a professional house cleaner and organizer and I also declutter as well and I take my job seriously and yes it is a real job I’m so glad you reached out for help I help my clients with the work I do and it warms my heart so God Bless you and your family and I’m so proud of you

  8. Gia, I feel you have set yourself free by hiring help. I can feel such good vibes from this video. It’s actually motivating to me. I do stuff like this ok on my own I just need a boost. I’m so happy for you and the spaces look fantastic.

  9. I’m 34. I legit teared up when you said if I can give my 30 year old self any advice, who you are and who you want to be is okay. You don’t have to do all the things for all the people. Girl I needed that so much!

  10. Paralyzed that’s the exact word to describe how it feels with such a daunting task! I’m thrilled that you did this and then share it with all of us!

  11. Love this!!! ❤️ I can’t afford to hire someone like Jessica but this video encouraged me to find other assistance for help that might be affordable for me. I want to be more organized like you I juggle several jobs also with school etc. Some days I want to throw the whole house in the trash. Thank you so much for sharing!

  12. Oh my goodness I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed your decluttering videos. You are a delight to listen to. I am a 67 yo mother of three and grandmother of 3. I am sending the link to my daughters….they don’t equally need the decluttering advise but I’m sure they will enjoy your personality and your revelations regarding dealing with your girls going forward.

  13. I’ve been told since I was younger that I should be a professional organizer. I just never saw it as a profession.

Not minimizing it as not being a profession. It’s just something naturally that God has blessed me with so I can just do it.

  14. I so needed to see and hear this…the struggle is sooooo real! After seeing the first episode I knew that I must do this! Thank you for sharing your vulnerability on this. Hello my name is La June and I need help… I am taking the first step and looking for a professional to help me…

  15. I am so happy for you!! You will notice continued mind shifts as you work around your decluttered space and tackle your master bedroom. I don’t typically watch your shop with me videos, because I just don’t shop like that. Deals are great, but still cost money that I don’t need to spend if I do not have a need or a space for it. However, I love all your other videos. This one was great and thanks for sharing your girls’ reactions. They were so precious and I know how you really helped shed the weight that was hanging over them, too…And then they went even further!! Also, your hubby’s happy face in the laundry room was so fun to see. Woohoo!! Thank you for repeating the message that we ALL have strengths and weaknesses and there is no need to tear down someone for their weakness, instead, we should be encouraging and uplifting them in their strength. We need each other and seeking help from someone that has a gift and made a business for herself is nothing to feel ashamed about!! You are rocking it! Here’s to 2023!!

  16. Girl 40 has been so freeing!! It was so beautiful to see you make those hard choices and declutter so much out of your home. It’s amazing you accepted that you needed help and got the help you needed. Decluttering takes work and you have to have the right support and mindset
