You can prune the steps of the tomato plants that don’t have flowers. That will give you a higher yield. It won’t produce as much fruit if it’s struggling for resources. Beautiful garden! So proud of all you’ve accomplished!
Hi Gia. Your flowers in the back sitting on the banister pull the dead flowers off so the new ones and grow in. That is a good idea to put the flowers on each side of the steps. Everything look so beautiful!
Gia you picked out some gorgeous perennials. I love the roses. Why didn’t you put the Hibiscus tree in front with other landscaping plants? I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan and we put our hibiscus in the ground. We do have harsh winters. So I cover it with burlap. Can’t wait to see your next video❤️
Yes!!! I’ve been waiting for this!! Looks sooo good! Love how you interspersed the purple with the bright greens! You’re like me. You just dig in and experiment. That’s how you learn. You win some and you lose some, but you’re always learning! Google is my best friend!! And Garden Answer on YT!
Your cherry tomato plants are indeterminate whereas your others are determinate. Determinate means they will only get to a determined height where as the indeterminate varieties will get big and take over and just continue to grow. With the fertilizer don’t do it every week unless instructions say so because it will burn the roots of your plants and kill them. It best to fertilizer once a month. What breed of strawberry did you get june bearing or ever bearing? Strawberries are perennial and will come back if winterized properly
The front porch and steps look beautiful, Jia! The gardens are gorgeous, too. All of the plants, baskets and rose bushes are showing out. I look forward to seeing the next phases. Thanks so much for sharing.
Yes, those are potatoes. Loving all the different varieties of flowers you have. Keep up the great work.
I myself have never done any kind of gardening before, Guess I have to add that to my bucket list..
For the backyard definitely dump the water out of the pot and cut the dead marigolds off .everything is looking so good I’ve never seen hydrangeas in a pot maybe put them in the ground they will flourish
Hey Jia i dont like recommending other ppl’s channels cuz i never know if im overstepping boundries. But there is this channel called Garden Answer. Very wholesome family. She knows so much about flowers plants and what looks good with what . Just wanted to let you know. If i overstep your channel boundries let me know and i wont do it again. And btw i can see how much joy gardening is giving you , keepup the good work.
Hey there. I think it is so admirable how every time you go grocery shopping you think of your parents house. As a mom, that is so very sweet.
Wonderful garden!! You inspired me to plant more next year. TFS ❤️
Jia, you might be able to carefully lift that cherry tomato out in the front of your bed and repot into a BIG pot by itself. That’s something my husband did, and it worked really well-actually improved the situation for all of them. We ended up with an amazing crop.
Watching people garden is like my ASMR. So relaxing.
We love those puma socks you bought! They work for me (size 9) and my daughter (she’s 11 and adjust in a women’s 11 shoe!). ❤
