  3. Our marriage therapist put the final nails in the coffin for us. I wonder what would have been possible had she challenged both of us to understand that our own individual issues were at the heart of our problems as a couple, rather than reacting to the symptoms of those issues that she was presented with at that point. My ex wife saw no hope, the counselor agreed with her, and it was over.

  4. I’m divorced now. But back when I was getting counseling about my marriage, one told me, in session two, that I should get a divorce. I told her, “We’re done here,” shook her hand, and left.

    She had made her recommendation based on my wife’s perceived faults, but she never delved into what I could control: my own. Huge red flag for me.

  5. Divorce is never the way out, My wife and I have been having issues before I sort out help from a spiritual adviser, i wasn’t going to let my marriage of 18years crash.

    1. @Rose Allen well not the orthodox way but i was referred by a friend to a spiritual adviser and healer.
