I absolutely agree with you. My attorney was not a divorce attorney, but she said I’ll help you because time is of the utmost you’ve already received paperwork and I didn’t know I was receiving it I thought he was coming home. She was not a divorce attorney she was a civil attorney and the divorce was botched. None of his monies were discovered and I ended up in a very bad position until now. I finally found the evidence and have to go back to court will they civil attorney from avvo. It was just such a botched job on I’m so saddened by what happened by choosing the wrong attorney. My ex husband’s first cousin is a magistrate in our County and I worried that she would give advice to my lawyer because they were friends. It was just a sad case . 2004
